Summary of Position:
Provides contract management and coordination for Summa Health System. Manages the physician contracting process and support various operational, reporting and analytical activities for Physician Services. Manages the contracting process to ensure timely completion of contract requests, ensure physician payments are made in compliance with contracting terms and in a timely manner, and facilitate the contracting process between the Accountable Owner(s), Summa Legal Department, and operations to ensure the contract meets the operational needs and legal requirements. Manages the Physician Services Contract Administrator/Analyst and ensure coverage and cross training of department needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Formal Education Required:
a. Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
b. Master's degree preferred.
c. Paralegal License preferred

2. Experience and Training Required:
a. Five (5) years of relevant professional experience.
b. Experience in department-level coordination.
c. Experience in complex document production, management, and retention.
d. Experience working in a complex organization with multiple departments.

3. Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
a. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
b. Ability to develop and maintain relationships with Executive Leadership Team, Accountable Owners, and Physicians.
c. Possesses analytical skill to problem solve.
d. Ability to work independently with limited supervision, within management guidelines,
e. Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their need for self-respect and dignity.
f. Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with patients/customers with the understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity

4. Level of Physical Demands:
a. Sedentary: Exerts up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members when determining offers. Please keep in mind that the range that is listed is the full base salary range. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical.
