JOB SUMMARY:

Provide massage therapy services for clients of Total Health and public persons entering facility with the intention of receiving massage therapy services. Provide safe, appropriate and effective massage techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of an accredited school of massage
• Licensure for Massage Therapy through the State of Oklahoma
• Pass score on the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx) or grandfathered in through the State of Oklahoma
• Recommended CPR certification from the American Heart Association
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to list, carry, push, and pull light to moderately heavy material, supplies or patients (up to or >100 lbs.) for most of the shift
• Able to lift, carry, push, and pull heavyweight materials (over 100 lbs.) occasionally
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time throughout the work schedule, with some bending and stooping
• Adequate stamina to deal with stressful situations and to complete the necessary work schedule
