Position Profile

The Massage Therapist promotes patient/family-centered care through exemplary customer service and providing massage therapy services to provide comfort and relaxation. Serves as a member of an interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains therapeutic relationships.
• Provides accurate observation of patient needs.
• Provides quality massage therapy.
• Assures patient safety.
• Provides effective patient/family teaching.
• Collaborates in providing patient care.
• Creates timely and accurate documentation.
• Utilizes resources effectively and efficiently.
• Maintains professional knowledge and enhances professional skills.
• Adheres to high standards of personal and professional conduct.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Graduate of accredited massage therapy program.
• Obtained Arizona Massage Therapy licensure.
• Valid Arizona drivers license and insured automobile.
• Minimum of one year of experience in massage therapy with a focus on pain relief.
• Previous experience with end of life care, preferred.
