MDS Auditor (RN)
Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our LTC Nursing Administration as an MDS Auditor. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

A typical day includes: The MDS Auditor Nurse promotes and maintains high-quality, medically necessary care through the analysis, review, and evaluation of clinical practices and medical records.
- Providing hands-on MDS support to facilities during staff vacancies, onboarding periods, or employee leave.
- Delivering direct training and coaching to nursing staff on accurate GG Section documentation.
- Ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant MDS documentation.
- Demonstrating full compliance with the RAI Manual and developing resident care plans in alignment with Foundation policies, Federal and State regulations, and established quality-of-care standards. Reviewing hospital return cases to identify missed assessment opportunities and ensure appropriate follow-up. Perform monthly certification letter audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assisting with assessments; monitors key clinical qualifiers; and supports the overall quality of resident care.
