Medical Assistant
Job Summary
Responsible for the delivery of patient care by administering daily pharmaceutics to inmate patients, maintain medical records, and provide other essential health care services as directed by the Medical Director. The medical assistant works closely with Advanced practice Provider (Physician's Assistant, Certified Nurse Specialist, and/or Nurse Practitioner), and Licensed Nurse.
Responsible for basic nursing-related and medical office tasks on average difficulty.
