What You'll Do

• Prepare patients for visits and obtain and document vital signs and patient information
• Assist physicians with office procedures, examinations and diagnostic testing
• Perform clinical skills including venipuncture, injections, and sterilization
• Handle specimens, forms, orders and other patient-care tasks
• Answer phones, relay messages and support scheduling, registration and front-desk activities
• Follow patient safety, infection prevention, and quality procedures
• Adapt quickly to different practice environments, priorities, and team needs

What You Bring

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required
• Previous physician-office Medical Assistant experience preferred
• Strong, well-rounded Medical Assistant clinical skills
• Confidence adapting to different providers, practice environments, and workflows
• Strong communication, organization, and patient-service skills
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between SGMG offices
