Medical Director (Psychiatrist)- Matthews - NC, US

Shifts: 25 hours per week.

Major job functions:

• Supports the Agency's mission, vision, philosophy and core values.

• Serves as the Medical Director for North Carolina Residential and Community based programs .

• Assists in management of clients through participation in multidisciplinary treatment process.

• Ensures the coordination between the mental health services being delivered with primary physical care healthcare providers.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• M.D. Degree and must be Board Eligible or a Board-Certified Psychiatrist in North Carolina

• The two or more years of training and experience must include face-to-face treatment and interventions as demonstrated by a caseload of clients with primary mental health or substance abuse disorder diagnosis.

• Must have Medical license Required.
