Key Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic laboratory testing in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and urinalysis
• Process and analyze patient specimens accurately and efficiently
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment according to established procedures
• Monitor quality control measures to ensure accurate and reliable test results
• Document and report laboratory findings within laboratory information systems
• Troubleshoot routine equipment and testing issues
• Maintain laboratory safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance standards
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and laboratory staff to support quality patient care
• Assist with inventory management and laboratory supply monitoring
• Participate in ongoing training, competency assessments, and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field required
• Current ASCP certification or equivalent MLT certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical laboratory experience required
• Experience with laboratory information systems and electronic medical records preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to pass a federal background investigation
