Mental Health Specialist, PACT

If so, we'd love to connect with you! We are Mental Health Cooperative (MHC), and we're looking for a Mental Health Specialist to join our Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) team! You'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team designed after traditional staff on an inpatient team working with consumers who present urgent/emergent mental health needs. The PACT team provides various areas of specialty, including care management, therapy, psychiatric services, medication management, life skills, and symptom management. As the Mental Health Specialist, you'll provide case management for an assigned group of consumers responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating treatment goals.

To join our team, you'll need:

  • Ability to conduct comprehensive assessment of psychiatric history, mental status, and physical health
  • Strong relational skills to engage consumers that help them learn behavioral symptom-management techniques and promote personal growth and development
  • Clinical experience developing and implementing treatment plans
  • To be a resource to help consumers with vocational, life, and financial goals
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A., B.S.) in the Mental Health Field

  • Highly collaborative and thrives working on a team
  • Pursuing LPC/MHSP and LCSW licensure (free supervision)
  • Diligent in tracking consumer's progress and serves as an accountability partner
