PRIMARY PURPOSE/FUNCTION:
To provide assessment and treatment of patients in the acute and non-acute setting under the supervision of the Practice physician.

Educational and/or Professional Qualifications:
• Graduate of a school of Physician Assistants or Advanced Nursing Practice

Previous Experience:
• Previous experience in patient care setting preferred.
• Knowledgeable regarding the physician extender process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.

Licensure, Certification, Registration, etc.:
• Valid license with the LA State Board of Medical Examiners or Louisiana State Board of Nursing Advanced Practice. Temporary license accepted.
