Monitor Tech

JOB SUMMARY

• The Monitor Technician is responsible for on-going surveillance of patient cardiac monitors and provides Nurses and/or clinicians with immediate notifications of any changes in cardiac rhythms. The Technician assists with maintenance of monitoring equipment through delivery, pick up, and cleaning of telemetry equipment. Monitor Technicians must possess effective commination skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Education

• High School or equivalent.

• Minimum Work Experience

• No previous experience.

• Required Licenses/Certifications

• Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Ability to handle confidential information.

• Maintains professional appearance at all times.
