Monitor Technician

JOB SUMMARY

The Monitor Technician is responsible for ongoing surveillance of patient cardiac monitors and provides nurses and/or clinicians with immediate notifications of any changes in cardiac rhythms. The Technician assists with maintenance of monitoring equipment through delivery, pick-up, and cleaning of telemetry equipment. Monitor Technicians must possess effective communication skills.

Minimum Education

• High School or equivalent.
