MRI Tech

Responsible for performing MRI exams and related processing procedures to demonstrate sectional anatomic images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.

Educational and/or Professional Qualifications/Licensure, Certification:

One of the following is required:

• Graduate of Radiology Tech program
• Graduate of an MRI training program

Previous Experience:

1. Prior experience preferred.

Other Special Training/Skills:

1. Ability to operate MRI equipment, manage patient care, and follow oral and written instructions.

Licensure, Certification, Registration, etc.:

One of the following is required:

• Certification by ARRT(MR)
• Certification by ARRT (R)
• Registered by ARMRIT
