The MSN/PG-APRN Program Support Coordinator provides administrative, operational, and academic support to ensure the smooth functioning of the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and Post-Graduate APRN Certificate programs. This role supports students, faculty, and program leadership by coordinating daily operations, maintaining compliance documentation, and contributing to a positive and efficient learning environment. The coordinator plays a key role in student success, program quality, and accreditation readiness.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
General:

- Must maintain a high level of confidentiality abiding by HIPAA and FERPA compliance.
Program Coordination
- Provides overall assistance to MSN & FNP Program Directors, SON Clinical Coordinator, faculty, and staff.
- Coordinates the daily operations of the program to ensure efficiency and continuity.
- Maintains calendars for upcoming starts
- Assist with organization of events, orientations, and faculty development activities.
- Initiates and maintains faculty peer-to-peer evaluations and mentoring.
- Assists with DocuSign and Project Concert document revisions.
- Maintain Evaluation kit data (e.g., EOCs, EOPs, FEOCs, etc.) as directed.
Student Support & Communication
- Serves as the primary point of contact for students and alumni for program-related inquiries.
- Completes and sends FNP credentialing request forms, State Board of Nursing requests, and Education Verification Requests with Program Director approval.
- Completes ANCC & AANP applications with Program Director approval.
- Writes Letters of Good Standing with Program Director approval.
- Sends a congratulatory email to students who pass FNP certification boards.
- Provides guidance, direction, and information regarding program processes, policies, deadlines, and academic resources.
- Escalates concerns to program leadership, where appropriate.
Data & Accreditation Support
- Tracks student track, progression, and enrollment status.
- Assist with out-of-state compliance and communication as directed.
- Assist in the completion of surveys and reports.
- Compiles and maintains accurate program records, databases, and spreadsheets for reporting and accreditation readiness.
- Supports data collection for program evaluation, outcomes assessment, and accreditation self-studies.
- Assists with preparation of reports for internal review, regulatory bodies, and accrediting agencies.
Operational & Academic Support
- Provides administrative support in the maintenance of curriculum.
- Reviews and edits curriculum as directed by Program Directors.
- Maintains list of book editions for future course revisions and tracking purposes.
- Evaluates and finalizes Student Handbook biannually
- Reviews Canvas courses and syllabi for accuracy. Suggests minor course revisions based on findings.
- Maintains updated syllabi for student access and registrar.
- Assists with compliance of institutional policies, state regulations, and professional nursing standards.
- Collects assignments and data for program directors.
- Assists with planning, coordinating, and executing events, including FNP Immersion.
- Perform and maintains course and program audits as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- English language proficiency.
- Proficient in technical skills, including work processing, spreadsheets, and databases (Microsoft Suite).
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively to manage assigned projects in a timely manner to accomplish its goals.
- Customer service experience.
- Good time management (i.e. prioritizes and meet deadlines)
- Is a team player (i.e. work well with others).
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience supporting higher education or healthcare-related setting. A suitable combination of education and experience may be substituted for minimum qualifications.
Additional Information
EDUCATION
A high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of college course work is required. An associate's degree is preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Work occasional evening and/or weekend hours.
- Attend on- or off-site programming or events.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items (up to 50 lbs) for special events and programs.
- Long exposure to computer monitor display up to 8 hours and prolonged sitting.

- Near vision sufficient to read written communications and computer display screens.
- Adequate hearing to communicate effectively in person and by phone.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
The annual salary for this position is $50,000 and is based on experience and education.
