Job Summary/Purpose: The 340B Analyst reports directly to the Pharmacy Coordinator. The 340B Analyst will work closely with the Pharmacy Coordinator, assist the 340B and purchasing team in maintaining, managing, auditing, monitoring, and implementing pharmacy 340B programs. The 340B Analyst will work in conjunction with internal audit, information systems, and pharmacy supply chain following departmental and health system policies and federal and state laws. The 340B Analyst evaluates and audits: purchase compliance for all inpatient and outpatient purchasing accounts, assesses 340B compliances for MUHA, and contracted pharmacies. This position research drug utilization and spending trends to identify potential compliance and cost-related issues.

Minimum Training and Education: Bachelor's degree and one-year relevant work experience, Master s Degree preferred. Relevant work experience may include accounting, bookkeeping, contract management, etc. Strong interpersonal, client relations, fact finding, analytical, project management, financial, presentation, and communication (written/verbal) skills are needed. Must be able to operate with a high degree of independence with limited supervision and direction.
