Network Engineer
University Health is seeking a Network Engineer with 1-3 years of hands-on networking experience to support and maintain critical enterprise network systems in a large, mission-driven healthcare environment. What You'll Do
- Support daily operations of enterprise network environments (LAN/WAN)
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network hardware and software
- Provide Tier 2 network support and assist with incident resolution
- Monitor network performance, system alerts, and environmental conditions
- Support upgrades, implementations, and integrations of network solutions
- Collaborate with senior engineers and architects on projects and improvements
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical network support
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of experience supporting network infrastructure in an enterprise environment
- Working knowledge of network fundamentals (switching, routing, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience troubleshooting network hardware and connectivity issues
- Familiarity with Cisco or comparable network equipment preferred
- Strong documentation, communication, and customer service skills
- Healthcare or highly regulated environment experience is a plus
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
