Centra Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist to join our growing Neurology team in Farmville, Virginia. This location in Farmville, VA would be an extension of our Lynchburg, VA Neurology department. In addition to Neurology services, Lynchburg has 4 full time Neurosurgeons trained in spine, complex spine, and vascular neurosurgery. Within the neurovascular services, there are 2 full time Neuroendovascular surgeons ranging clinical capability from endovascular procedures to open cerebrovascular procedures addressing AVMs, aneurysms, and tumors.
As the only neurologist serving a large regional area, you will become a trusted resource for patients throughout Southside region. You'll enjoy the professional satisfaction of practicing broad-spectrum neurology while serving a community with significant access needs. The practice offers a diverse neurological patient population with a strong demand in the following areas:
- Dementia and cognitive disorders (highest clinical volume)
- Movement disorders
- Headache disorders
- Peripheral neuropathy

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Completion of medical degree and residency/fellowship training
- MD/DO with certification by an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) board in physician's primary specialty. Must be board certified or in the process of certifying.
