Neurology Physician

A hospital in Ohio is seeking a Neurology Physician to provide quality patient care for a Locum Tenens assignment.

Assignment

• Dates: Full-time Monday - Friday
• 8am
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• 8am -4:30pm
• 4.5 days outpatient with limited inpatient call coverage
• Setting: Mix of Inpatient & Outpatient
• Call: 1:3 spilt
• Volume: 10-15 patients per day
• Patient Ages: Adult
• Procedures: General Neurology
• Cases: Bread and Butter
• Commonly treated conditions:
• Stroke
• Parkinson's disease
• Epilepsy and seizure disorders
• Neuropathy and nerve pain
• Migraine and headache disorders
• Multiple sclerosis (MS)
• Alzheimer's disease
• Trigeminal neuralgia
• Involuntary movement
• Disorders of the nervous system
• Support Staff: 2 Physicians and 1 CNP
• EMR/Charting: Cerner

Requirements

• Boards: Board Certified
• Certifications: ACLS; BLS
