All nursing students graduating from an accredited nursing program in 2023 can apply now for the residency program which starts this fall. Cheshire Medical Center is committed to the successful transition of newly licensed nurses from student to independently practicing nurse. Our residency program is a partnership between our clinical units and the Education Department so that your orientation will be coordinated and guided, in the classroom and your unit.

As a newly licensed nurse you will be eligible for benefits on day one of employment, student loan repayment, tuition reimbursement and a sign on bonus!
