Nuclear Med Tech

Position Summary

Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures in compliance with the Holyoke Medical Center's mission statement, policies, and standards of care and the philosophy, policies, procedures, and goals of the Nuclear Medicine department. The scope of patient services provided encompass age groups ranging from infant to geriatrics. Accountabilities include providing appropriate services, positive customer, interdepartmental, and intradepartmental communications, while maintaining, and improving competencies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited program in nuclear medicine or an allied health field
  • Licenses/Registrations: Current certification by Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board, or American Association of Radiologic Technologists; current license within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist; Current CPR required at BLS level

Note: The compensation range noted above represents the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries are determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range.
