Nuclear Medicine Supervisor

Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of Imaging Services, provides direct supervision of Nuclear Medicine staff and operations. Performs procedures in compliance with the Holyoke Medical Center's mission statement, policies, and standards of care and the philosophy, policies, procedures, and goals of the Nuclear Medicine department. The scope of patient services provided encompasses age groups ranging from infant to geriatrics. Accountabilities include providing appropriate services, positive customer, interdepartmental, and intradepartmental communications, while maintaining and improving competencies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited program in nuclear medicine or an allied health field
  • Licenses/Registrations: Current certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board, or American Association of Radiologic Technologists; current license within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist; Current CPR required at BLS level
  • Experience: Preferred five years' experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with a minimum of two years in a supervisory role
