Summary
Prepares, measures, and administers radiopharmaceuticals in diagnostic and therapeutic studies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an American Medical Association accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
- Registry or registry eligible by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (N). Registry eligible incumbents must be certified within one year of hire date.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Analytical ability to adjust and calibrate equipment and review patient information for data pertinent to scan and subsequent diagnosis by a radiologist
- Fundamental understanding of personal computers and familiarity with the Windows operating system.
