Nurse Aide - Home Health - Part Time

JOB SUMMARY

A certified nursing support person who assists licensed personnel in providing basic nursing care to patients and the routine activities in the community environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education

Minimum Work Experience

• 1 Year

Required Licenses/Certifications

• Certified Nurse Aide
• CPR
• Texas Driver's License

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Maintain confidentiality of patients.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language effectively.
• Ability to provide personal care and safe transfers, which includes proficiency with adaptive equipment, such as Hoyer lift and sliding board.
• Must demonstrate the maturity and ability to deal effectively with issues related to delivery of services.
• Must be able to arrange for transportation to patients homes.
