Nurse Educator

The Nurse Educator provides orientation and continuing education programs for our nursing staff. The Educator will determine ongoing educational needs for all levels of staff in collaboration with the Nurse Managers. He/She will also participate in committees, task forces, and meetings that contribute to the attainment of the Nursing Department's goals and objectives.

Required experience:
-Minimum 3 - 5 years OR experience / specialty area (i.e., Perioperative) and demonstrates ability for formal education in a classroom or clinical settings.

Education requirement:
-Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

-Bachelor degree required.
-Master's Degree preferred and enrolled in an accredited program.
-Certified Perioperative Nurse (CCNOR) certification required.

Certification/Licensure:
-Current registration in New York State as an RN.

-Proficiency with Microsoft Office software. Must demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and computer skills.

Salary Range: $105,000.00 - $131,000.00
