Nurse Home Visitor- Richland Parish and Morehouse Parish
Join a team of nurses who are making a profound difference in the lives of low-income, first-time parents and their children. Nurse Family Partnership nurses provide home visiting services and work with their clients to improve pregnancy outcomes, improve child health and development and improve the economic self-sufficiency of the family. To become a Nurse Family Partnership nurse, the applicant must meet the following qualifications:
Applicant must have Maternal-Child experience and meet one of the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing with three years of nursing experience. Maternal/Child health experience preferred. Possession of a current/non-restricted Louisiana nursing license. A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred. CPR certification required or must be willing to obtain certification.
OR
2. Associate Degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience. Maternal/Child health experience preferred. Possession of a current/non-restricted Louisiana nursing license. CPR certification required or must be will to obtain certification.
3. A Master’s degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of experience.
