Nurse Liaison

The ED Nurse Liaison is a registered nurse who is responsible for creating and maintaining an environment of Operational Excellence through positive interactions with patients, their families, visitors and the health care team.

The ED Nurse Liaison addresses all patient and customer concerns in a proactive, timely manner and functions as a primary source of information regarding delay and patient flow.

The ED Nurse Liaison functions as the initial point of contact for the patient to the ED reception area, making the patient and family feel comforted, valued and well taken care of.
• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure by the Indiana State Board of Nursing.
• 3 years experience in Med/Surg or Medical Telemetry nursing.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (CPR)
• It is the staff nurse's responsibility to remain current in required certifications.
