Nurse Practitioner

Job Overview

We are hiring full-time Nurse Practitioners to perform VA Disability Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams for U.S. Veterans in Killeen TX. This is a low-stress, clinic-based role focused on structured medical assessments — no treatment, no prescribing, and no ongoing patient care.

We currently have one full-time opening.

Schedule & Pay

• Full-time: Monday–Friday
• Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm
• Patient Volume: 3–5 Veterans per 8-hour day
• Pay: $500 per day

What You’ll Do

• Conduct in-person VA disability exams for Veterans
• Review provided medical history abstracts related to each claim
• Complete structured physical assessments
• Document findings using a web-based exam platform
• Submit completed electronic records within 24 hours

What You Won’t Do

• No diagnosing
• No prescribing
• No treatment or follow-up care
• No call, nights, or weekends

Provider Support

• Web-based exam and documentation tools
• Dedicated exam and technology support team
• Training provided — assessment experience helpful but not required

Qualifications

• Active APRN license (required)
• Ability to work onsite in Killeen, TX
• Must be able to relocate prior to start date
