About the Role

XstremeMD is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide occupational medicine and urgent care services in our Midland clinic.

This role is ideal for a provider who is confident working independently, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and values excellent patient and customer service. The ideal candidate will bring strong procedural skills, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to lead by example.

Candidates must currently reside in the Midland area or be willing to relocate.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses
• Perform DOT and non-DOT physicals
• Conduct return-to-work evaluations and fit-for-duty testing
• Perform minor procedures including:
  • Suturing
  • Incision & drainage (I&D)
• Document patient care accurately in EMR systems
• Support OSHA-compliant occupational health services
• Collaborate with clinic staff and leadership to maintain efficient operations
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and client companies

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Texas Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience in one of the following:
  • Emergency Medicine
  • Urgent Care
  • Occupational Medicine or relevant clinical experience
• Experience with:
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Microsoft Office Suite
• DOT Medical Examiner Certification
