Responsibilities

About the Role

As a Nurse Practitioner, you'll play an essential role in delivering patient-centered care, including assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing health management.

You will:

  • Perform comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the care team.
  • Conduct diagnostic and follow-up evaluations.
  • Provide compassionate, age-appropriate care to patients and families.
  • Document accurately and timely across all encounters.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to continuous patient-care improvement.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

Education/Training

  • MN or MSN or DNP or PhD or DNS degree in nursing required.

Licensure/Certification

  • ARNP license in the state of Alabama.
  • After July 1, 2006, licensure applicants are required to have national advanced certification from an approved nursing specialty board.
  • Maintains current BLS certification
