Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute is looking for a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our Breast Care practice. Experience in Breast Surgery is preferred!
Maintains responsibility for providing expert clinical care in general or specialty areas. Assesses, plans, and provides patient care in collaboration with the attending physician. Provides comprehensive health assessments, performs medical diagnosis of acute and chronic illnesses, writes prescriptions, and formulates treatment plans. Diagnoses medical conditions, plans and implements interventions. Assists in medical/surgical care of patients and evaluates responses in collaboration with the attending/consulting physicians. Supports and adheres to the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Qualifications: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program for nursing education and successful completion of a Nursing Practitioner program. Minimum 1-3 years' post MSN experience in breast or oncology nursing. Experience and knowledge in the management of the physiologic and psychological effects of cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatment. RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state. Current state certification of Nurse Practitioner. Current CPR certification required.
