A growing, physician led kidney care practice in Tucson is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its collaborative and patient focused team. This is an exciting opportunity to build a long term career in nephrology while working alongside experienced physicians in a highly supportive training environment.
Whether you are an experienced APP or a motivated new graduate, this team is committed to helping you succeed. Providers with backgrounds in hospital medicine, ICU, internal medicine, dialysis, or nephrology are especially encouraged to apply. Comprehensive nephrology training is provided.

What You'll Do
You will split your time between outpatient clinic care and dialysis rounding while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams. The role offers a dynamic schedule, meaningful patient relationships, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on patients managing complex chronic conditions.
Responsibilities include:
- Dialysis rounding in outpatient dialysis centers
- Chronic kidney disease management in clinic settings
- Collaborating with physicians to co manage patient care
- Developing treatment plans and educating patients and families
- Managing ESRD related complications including hypertension, anemia, electrolyte imbalances, and vascular access concerns
- Ordering and interpreting labs and diagnostic studies
- Coordinating care across multiple healthcare settings
Schedule Highlights
- Combination of clinic and dialysis rounding
- Typically 3 to 4 days of dialysis rounding and 2 to 3 clinic days
- Dialysis units and clinics are located within reasonable driving distance of one another
- Collaborative APP and physician team model

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Active or eligible Arizona licensure
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Passion for patient centered care and teamwork
- Bilingual Spanish skills are helpful but not required
