Getwell Healthsystems is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our Pain Management practice in the Downtown Louisville Metro Area on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care, assist with treatment planning, and support patients experiencing chronic and acute pain conditions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated provider looking to work in a collaborative and patient-focused clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, evaluations, and follow-up visits
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results
• Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in EMR systems
• Educate patients regarding treatment plans, medications, and pain management strategies
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure quality patient care
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinic policies

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky Nurse Practitioner license required
• Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner required
• DEA license preferred
• Previous experience in Pain Management preferred
• Strong communication and clinical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• EMR experience preferred

License/Certification

• Nurse Practitioner License (Required)
• DEA Certification (Preferred)
