Nurse Practitioner/PA job details:

Position Details:

  • Full time
  • 40 hours per week
  • M-F 8:00am - 5pm


Primary role is:

  • Provide comprehensive care to patients within the clinic


Essential Job Duties:

  • Completes the routine physical assessment using common assessment skills in a systematic manner.
  • Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
  • Records physical findings, formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition.
  • Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of physician.
  • Orders rheumatology infusion treatments under the supervision of collaborative Rheumatologist.
  • Oversee infusion treatments as necessary under the supervision of collaborative Rheumatologist.
  • Take first call according to the planned call schedule as necessary.
  • Handles message pools and prescription refill requests under supervision of Rheumatologist.
  • Perform any injections and procedures as requested by the collaborative Rheumatologist after required training is completed.


Qualifications:
• Graduate from an accredited MSN or PA program
• Must have Indiana RN license.
• Must have active APRN or PA/CSR license or be eligible for licenses.
• AANP, ANCC or PA certification

License/Certification:
• BLS certification
