Nurse Practitioner, Urgent Care
We are seeking an APP Team Lead to join our Urgent Care team at IU Health. This position will include both clinical and leadership responsibilities supporting the Urgent Care department at our Lafayette locations.
Position Details:
- Full-time
- 40 hours per week
- (3) 12-hr clinical shifts
- 0.1 FTE admin
- Rotating weekends
- Clinic hours are 8am-8pm
- 8am-6pm Saturday & Sunday
- No call
- 100% outpatient
- Ages 3 months and up
- Services offered: injury and illness care, laceration repair, I&D, EKGs, occupational medicine including work comp, DOT physicals, and sports physicals
- Locations include West Side Lafayette (Sagamore Pkwy) & South Side Lafayette (Walter Scholer)
Team Lead Administrative Responsibilities
- Support advanced practice provider clinical practice in our Urgent Care clinics through monitoring team performance, mentoring & coaching APPs, leading quality-improvement efforts, and working collaboratively with various members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care outcomes
Qualifications:
- FNP or PA certification required
- At least 1 year of urgent care, family medicine, or emergency medicine as an APP required
- Must obtain DOT certification within 30 days of hire
