Cape Fear Valley Health is one of the lages systems in the North Carolina area. Located in beautiful Fayetteville, NC it is proud to be in a scenic area and in close proximity to the Fort Braggs Army Base.

 Our Health System has grown from a community hospital to a 942-bed regional health system. Our flagship hospital is a state-designated Level III Trauma Center which specializes in cardiac care, cancer treatment and surgical services as well as neuroscience, physical rehabilitation, orthopedics and more. Services for children include a pediatric emergency department, pediatric intensive care unit and a Level IV neonatal intensive care unit. A private, not-for-profit organization with more than 1 million patient visits annually, it has eight hospitals with 7,000 employees and 850 physicians.

The challenge of caring for surgical patients is thrilling and exciting. Surgical Services crosses five hospitals through Cape Fear Valley Health. Whether in pre-testing, pre-op, OR, PACU/phase II recovery, or in the post-op inpatient unit we are looking for nurses who enjoy the challenge of quick thinking and high energy that is required to care for surgical patients in a fast paced and ever changing environment. In addition, Cardiac Surgery Operating Room is available for those OR nurses who prefer to specialize in this high demanding specialty.

The Sterile Processing Department is also a very important and critical department within Surgical Services. This department looks for staff who are dedicated and take pride in a job well done. Come join us and share in this adventure of "Providing exceptional healthcare for all our patients".

Requirements:

  1. Current licensure in North Carolina as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse or Compact state licensure.
  2. Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
  3. At least one year surgical care experience.
  4. ACLS and telemetry experience required for PACU.
