NUTRITION SVC CLERK
- DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
- Greets telephone clients and takes meal orders. Demonstrates excellent telephone skills. Processes orders. Checks trays and expedites meals. Follows D-10 standards and philosophy. Keeps accurate department records. Demonstrates a commitment to quality and the concept of teamwork.
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional/Educational
- Ability to read and write is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Associates degree in dietetics preferred.
- Current Food Service Sanitation Certificate or Illinois Food Handler Training Certificate. Or must obtain one of the previously listed within 30 days of date of hire.
- Two years experience in hospital food service preferred.
- Experience in computers necessary.
- Excellent telephone skills are required.

- Must demonstrate high standards of personal cleanliness and hygiene.
- Must demonstrate good social skills and a commitment to quality.
- Must demonstrate a willingness to work as a member of a team.
- Must demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
