NUTRITION SVC CLERK

• DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
  
  
  • Greets telephone clients and takes meal orders. Demonstrates excellent telephone skills. Processes orders. Checks trays and expedites meals. Follows D-10 standards and philosophy. Keeps accurate department records. Demonstrates a commitment to quality and the concept of teamwork.
• QUALIFICATIONS
  
  
  • Professional/Educational
    
    
    • Ability to read and write is required.
    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Associates degree in dietetics preferred.
    • Current Food Service Sanitation Certificate or Illinois Food Handler Training Certificate. Or must obtain one of the previously listed within 30 days of date of hire.
    • Two years experience in hospital food service preferred.
    • Experience in computers necessary.
    • Excellent telephone skills are required.

    • Must demonstrate high standards of personal cleanliness and hygiene.
    • Must demonstrate good social skills and a commitment to quality.
    • Must demonstrate a willingness to work as a member of a team.
    • Must demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
