Occupational Therapist
- DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
- Evaluates, directs, plans, and provides treatments for patients with a wide variety of disabilities to help them achieve a maximum level of functional independence. Documents patient care and results of treatment appropriately in the medical record to comply with policies and procedures of the department and regulatory agencies.
- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
- Experience:
- Two years of experience preferred. Entry-level acceptable.
- Education and Training:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy with a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Ability to comprehend and write the English language.
- License, Certification & Registration:
- MAOT - MA OT License
- CPR required
- Other Requirements:
- Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prostheses that will enable these senses to function adequately so the requirements of the position can be fully met.
