Occupational Therapist
Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring an Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Outpatient Pediatric Clinic in Bolivar, MO - someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm

What Your Day Looks Like: Equipped with specialized technologies, including Balance Master, VitalStim, and Anodyne, the Rehab Services Department works closely with physicians to provide acute and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to restore the functional abilities of patients. Emphasis is placed on collaboration and teamwork, and new therapists are encouraged to grow their skills through professional development and mentorship. The department routinely finishes within the 90th percentile or better in the nation for patient satisfaction.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be:
- Developing and implementing treatment plans that lead to optimal patient outcomes
- Communicating effectively with patients, care team members, physicians, and others
- Focusing on job-related objectives and following through in a timely manner even if involved in multiple daily responsibilities
- Writing clear, concise, legible documentation that includes appropriate information for care planning
- Preparing and maintaining equipment and supplies, and following procedures to obtain, charge, and restock equipment and supplies as needed
Qualifications
- Education: Completion of an Occupational Therapy program with a Masters or Doctorate Degree from an accredited institution
- Experience: New graduates welcome! One year of prior experience preferred
- Skills: Patient care, problem-solving, customer service, listening skills
- Licensure/Certification: Current Missouri Occupational Therapy License
- Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing and walking, ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. with patient and/or equipment assistance, ability to carry up to 35 lbs.
