Occupational Therapist Assistant

Alerion Healthcare is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist Assistant to work contract assignments located in New York, NY and surrounding boroughs.

As an Occupation Therapist Assistant, you will work: 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Provides clinical services as a Licensed Occupational Therapist Assistant to appropriate residents under physician’s orders.
• Reports to the Occupational Therapist information relating to the patient’s progress, complication, and/or response to treatment.
• Assist Occupational Therapist in performing procedures, test, and complex treatments to ensure the safe, effective evaluation and treatment of patients.
• Adheres to documentation requirements of Rehabilitation department and the facility.

Job Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current NYS license
• Skilled Nursing Facility or similar setting
