Oncologist

NRMC is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician to join our rural healthcare team. This role provides the opportunity to deliver compassionate cancer care and chronic blood disorder management in a community where access to oncology services is limited.

Practice Overview

• Diagnosis and treatment of solid tumors and hematologic conditions
• Outpatient oncology clinic with infusion services
• Coordination of chemotherapy and treatment plans
• Collaboration with external cancer centers for advanced care
• Strong opportunity to build a vital local cancer care service

• 71-bed rural hospital
• Significant regional need for oncology services
• Next closest oncology centers located 60+ miles away
• Strong community support and referral pipeline

Clinical Support & Resources

• Infusion and nursing support services
• Laboratory and imaging capabilities on-site
• Referral relationships with tertiary cancer centers
• Multidisciplinary care coordination

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Missouri licensure eligibility
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
• Experience in outpatient oncology preferred
• Strong communication and patient-centered care skills
