Job Title: PA/NP - Educator, Instructor

Location: Bethel, AK 99559

Pay rate: $150K - $203K/annum

Shift Information: Fulltime

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development: Design, develop, and update educational curricula, course materials, and training modules for nurse practitioner students based on the latest medical research, clinical guidelines, and best practices in nursing education.
• Instruction and Facilitation: Deliver engaging and informative lectures, workshops, and interactive sessions to NP students, covering various medical specialties, advanced nursing skills, and patient care scenarios.
• Clinical Preceptorship and Training: Act as a preceptor or clinical instructor for NP students during their hands-on training and clinical rotations, providing guidance, feedback, and evaluation of their clinical performance.
• Mentorship: Offer individualized mentorship and career guidance to NP students, helping them develop professionally, navigate challenges, and make informed decisions in their nursing careers.
• Continuing Education: Organize and lead continuing education programs for practicing nurse practitioners, ensuring they stay current with the latest medical advancements, evidence-based practices, and professional development opportunities.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Develop and implement assessment tools to evaluate the progress and competence of NP students, providing constructive feedback to support their growth and learning.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare educators, faculty members, and clinical experts to enhance educational resources, promote interdisciplinary learning, and facilitate a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Research and Scholarship: Engage in educational research and scholarly activities related to nursing education, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and best practices in nurse practitioner training.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing, with specialization as a Nurse Practitioner (NP).
• Current and unrestricted nurse practitioner license.
• Prior experience in nursing education, instructional design, or curriculum development is highly desirable.
