Part time Assistant Resident care Coordinator/LPN
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
Design and deliver superior nursing care to community residents.
Conducts resident assessments in accordance to State rules and community policies.
Completes and maintains current resident service plans. Service plans must be unique to the resident and based on the most recent assessment.
Communicates to appropriate staff the content and requirements of the resident service plans.
Develops and maintains community drug management programs. Trains and monitors nurses and unlicensed staff in the administration and management of medications.
Develops staff training programs and trains staff according too corporate and state guidelines. Arranges for training from outside vendors. Ensures compliance of all community staff with corporate and state training requirements.
Document periodically residents' condition and noting significant changes in condition when they occur.
Respond appropriately to residents or family requests.
Participate in resident service planning meeting, quality assurance meeting, or other appropriate meetings as requested.
Utilize resources within budget and staffing guidelines.
Schedule medication technicians so that all resident needs are met 24 hours a day.
Work with dieticians, and therapists.
Assists with managing census to maintain stabilized occupancy and proper levels of care. Ensures that corporate level of care is adequate for the care that is needed.
Develops, implements, and monitors the community's Employee Health Program.
Ensure compliance with all rules, regulations, laws and statutes pertaining to the licensing of an assisted living community.
Maintains and protects the confidentiality of resident information at all times.
Presents a professional demeanor that communicates the corporate philosophy and "Personal Touch."
Performs other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Graduated from accredited nursing program.
Minimum 2-years management in assisted living or long term care.
Current LPN license with the state of Nevada.
CPR/ First Aid Certifications.
Knowledge of quality nursing practice.
Ability to direct and lead staff in multiple tasks.
Ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, supervisor, employees.
Willingness to work with the elderly.
