We provide mental, emotional, and behavioral health care services to more than 90 children and family members each day. Through counseling and therapy our goal is to help our clients develop coping skills, attitudes, and positive experiences necessary to succeed in educational settings and lead happy, healthy, and productive lives.
As one of the most experienced outpatient providers of behavioral health services, Warm Springs Counseling Center (WSCC) serves thousands of children and families every year.
*Position Overview:*
We are looking for someone to join our clinical team! This is a part-time, site-based position located primarily at the Boys and Girls Club of Ada County - Moseley Center and the Future Public Charter School. As a site-based clinician, you will be coordinating with the Boys and Girls Club and Future Public staff, along with our agency's Front Office, to identify appropriate candidates that would benefit from therapeutic services. You will be working remotely out of the Boys and Girls Club offices, including Future Public Charter, and report to the Meridian Site Clinical Director. Boys and Girls Club and Future Public Charter work simultaneously with each other to offer connection to their students. Counseling sessions will be held at both sites. We need someone who is well organized and enjoys autonomy. This position will be part-time *with the opportunity to transition to full-time* if the program is successful. Schedule will depend on the student and family's needs. Evening sessions will be expected. We hope you will consider joining us!
1. Assess client needs, abilities or behavior through interviews and direct observation of behavior.
2. Diagnose and treat mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders such as anxiety, depression, addictions, developmental, social, and interpersonal problems, and challenging behavior.
3. Coordinate and deliver patient care in a cost-effective manner, utilizing resources appropriately and adhering to all WSCC protocols for care.
4. Work collaboratively with staff and other clinicians to provide optimal client care through multidisciplinary team meetings and case consultations.
5. Monitor and report treatment outcomes as necessary.
6. Create and keep current progress notes, treatment plans, treatment plan reviews, termination/transfer summaries and other documentation as required by agency policies.
7. Attend staff meetings and case consultations.
8. Provide consultation to professionals outside the agency who are involved in the care of clients served by WSCC.
9. Develop and monitor appropriate programs of treatment and/or training, including specialized therapy services, clinical supervision services, and other services as requested.
10. Develop and facilitate therapeutic and educational groups and workshops.
11. Maintain current practice knowledge by meeting CE requirements and licensure.
12. Abide by the Ethical and Professional Standards established by the National Association of Social Workers or American Counseling Association.
13. Comply with all agency policies and procedures.
14. Other duties as assigned.
15. For non-clinically licensed providers: must attend and maintain documentation of required supervision for licensure.
*Qualifications:*
· Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
· Current Idaho licensure in LMFT, LCPC, LPC, LCSW, or LMSW.
· Experience providing therapy to children, teens, and families preferred.
· Strong clinical skills and understanding of evidence-based practices.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
· Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 28 per week
