PAT FINANCIAL SVC REP

Seeking candidates with prior hospital billing experience!

Position could work at either our Penn Yan or our Geneva location. Opportunities to work a hybird schedule after orientation process.

• POSITION SUMMARY:
  
  
  • Responsible for accurate and timely submission of claims to third party payers and follow up of billed claims for payment.
• QUALIFICATIONS:
  
  
  • EDUCATION:
    
    
    • Minimum:
      
      
      • High school degree with strong emphasis in business.
    • Preferred:
      
      
      • A.A.S. degree.
  • LICENSE:
  • PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
  • WORK EXPERIENCE:
    
    
    • Minimum:
      
      
      • One year of related hospital, physician office, or business office experience.
      • Experience to include knowledge of relevant third party billing regulations, requirements, and CPT coding.
      • Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
      • Strong communication and organizational skills.
      • Computer literacy with word processing, spreadsheets, power point.

Salary Range: $19.35 - $22.47
