Our two campuses in Methuen and Haverhill have a total of 320 beds, and we are a full-service, acute care hospital offering comprehensive inpatient medical/surgical units, outpatient care, and 24/7 emergency services. We have three behavioral health units: cardiac telemetry, and critical care service lines. Our Haverhill campus offers all private rooms, and our Methuen campus offers a new state-of-the-art catheterization suite and Joint Center of Excellence, named as a Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Distinction+ Center for Knee and Hip Replacement.
Position Summary:
Summary:
Arranges for the efficient and orderly admission of inpatients and registration of individuals who have hospital-based outpatient testing or procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures that the patient information is collected and that patients are aware of hospital policies and procedures.
- Interviews incoming patient or representatives and enters information required for admission into the computer database.
- Distributes appropriate information to ancillary departments.
- Participates in performance improvement and CQI activities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with individuals at all levels.
- Excellent customer service skills are required.
- Treats patients/families professionally, with respect and dignity
- Demonstrates the ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience with medical terminology
Salary Range: $16.60-$24.67
