PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN
- DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
- A member of the healthcare team who aids the Charge Nurse, Registered Nurse and nursing assistants with clerical and patient care duties on the nursing units
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional/Educational
- At least 17 years of age.
- Currently Certified by IDPH as a CNA.
- Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Personal
- Evidence of good health, grooming and professional conduct.
- Desire and ability to cooperate with and/or under the direction of others.
- Possesses a sense of responsibility, initiative and honesty.
- Ability to follow directions accurately.
- Appreciation of and desire to be a part of a health care team dedicated to providing patients optimal care.

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
