Please note, this is not a Clinical Fellowship position. We do have an active CF program, however this position is for an SLP that has obtained their Certificate of Clinical Competence.

Responsibilities of an Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)include:

  • This position will provide comprehensive speech therapy services to clients of C&FD, including but not limited to evaluations and treatment services.
  • Our SLPs enjoy being a part of a multi-disciplinary team of professionals that value and support each other while fostering a holistic approach to treating clients and supporting their families.
  • Our clinical staff is valued for their knowledge and expertise and encouraged to develop the skills and areas of specialization they are interested in.


Requirements of an Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) include:

  • North Carolina Speech Therapy licensure is required and must be active and in good standing
  • A qualified SLP must be able to pass a background check prior to hiring and must possess a valid driver's license to travel to clinic offices and meeting
  • Currently live in the Charlotte area or are planning to relocate to the Charlotte area in the next 3 months
  • CCC in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Pediatric Speech Therapy: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Master's (Preferred)
