Join an exciting opportunity with a forward-looking dynamic GI hospital program and a full support staff.Job Description:Will consider candidates who are Board Eligible (must become Board Certified within a year).Board Certified in Gastroenterology with 5-8 years of GI workexperience(not including residency/fellowship) is preferred.Position includes inpatient, outpatient, rounds, and clinic.Reason for coverage is growth and one replacement hireAverage number of patients per day: Clinic is covered one day/week with APP support in-house and in the clinic.The Jackson Division of Gastroenterology is affiliated with Henry Ford Medical Group through vibrant pathways for sharing of patient care. Locally, a team of APP s provide support both in clinic as well as in the hospital.Trauma Level IIA hospital-owned endoscopy center and outpatient clinic on the hospital campus allow for easy access to your patients in any location.Teaching opportunities are available through our GME program for those interested in academic involvement.Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments.Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization.Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues.ITIL and or other industry certification is preferred.PMP ispreferred.Proximity to several larger cities adds to the desire for physicians to work at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital.
