  • JOB SUMMARY

    • Provides pharmaceutical care through the delivery of distributive pharmaceutical services and monitoring of drug therapy, and performance of quality assurance (performance improvement) activities. Demonstrates a commitment to professional development and maintains professional competence in higher areas of specialization: therapeutic drug monitoring, pharmacokinetic monitoring, adverse drug reaction detection and management.
  • DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Demonstrates Competency in the Following Areas:

      • Education/Regulatory Requirements:

        • Doctorate of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science degree from an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy.
        • Active or eligible for licensure by the State of Mississippi Board of Pharmacy.
      • Skills:

        • Moderate to advanced computer and data entry skills.
        • Automated pharmacy systems, IV Laminar Flow Hood.
        • Calculation skills.
        • Ability to work with physicians in a collaborative manner.
        • Organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
