Pharmacist I
- JOB SUMMARY
- Provides pharmaceutical care through the delivery of distributive pharmaceutical services and monitoring of drug therapy, and performance of quality assurance (performance improvement) activities. Demonstrates a commitment to professional development and maintains professional competence in higher areas of specialization: therapeutic drug monitoring, pharmacokinetic monitoring, adverse drug reaction detection and management.
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrates Competency in the Following Areas:
- Education/Regulatory Requirements:
- Doctorate of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science degree from an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Active or eligible for licensure by the State of Mississippi Board of Pharmacy.
- Skills:
- Moderate to advanced computer and data entry skills.
- Automated pharmacy systems, IV Laminar Flow Hood.
- Calculation skills.
- Ability to work with physicians in a collaborative manner.
- Organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
