Pharmacy Technician

• • • JOB SUMMARY
      • This position performs a large variety of technical medication preparation and distribution-related activities as assigned and supervised by a registered Pharmacist. Responsibilities require a level of technical training and the ability to exercise sound judgment within a structured Pharmacy Service system.
    • QUALIFICATIONS
      • Education

    High School graduate or GED. Certification by Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). Eligibility to register with Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a "Certified Pharmacy Technician"

    • Training and Experience
      • A practical knowledge of basic math (including fractions and decimals) is essential. Must be able to follow written and oral directions. Must be able to perform routine repetitive tasks on a continuous basis. Accuracy is essential.
